Boa Boca® was born in Évora in 2004 inspired by the delicious Portuguese traditional products and by the quality of Portuguese design. The mentors of this project are, Inês Varejão, Agricultural Engineer with a master in Enology and António João Policarpo, a graphic designer graduated in publicity and internationally awarded.

To accomplish this vision of promoting the best products made in Portugal, they have established partnerships with local producers whom have kept the secret of producing the finest traditional products such as, biscuits, chocolates, teas, jams, wines and liquors.

To this high quality traditional product, they had to add a strong design component as product differentiating aspect.

Thus the Food+Design concept emerged; widely published by Boa Boca® and which essentially bets on artisan Portuguese flavors recreated through surprising gastronomic combinations and available in a contemporary and elegant packaging.

This is, as for all the products created by Boa Boca®, their signature.

A simple style, that has been consolidated over the twelve years of existence of the company and that allowed to collect several awards and honorable mentions among which, the Red Dot Design Award and the Sena da Silva Award attributed by the Centro Português de Design.

Nationally and internationally recognized for the entrepreneurial spirit and the differentiating work, as a company, as for the quality of the product and for the packaging design, which motivates them to do more and better.

Boa Boca® will continue to innovate the presentation of the Portuguese artisan products, to market design packaging, creating therefore value with the purpose to disclose the Portuguese culture and flavors around the world.

The Boa Boca® products are marketed and distributed directly by the company to gourmet shops, delicatessen, concept stores and hotels from the north to the south of the country and islands, and outside the country by distributers, agents and directly to customers.
